Main objectives of UFMD funding activities to improve the following three targets:

Practical orientation
Improve the lack of practical orientation in study programs to support the employability of graduates by 
a better understanding of farm management.

Student-centered
Collection of farm data as part of the study process with lecturers providing insight into the production process and assessment of the results.
Teachers accompany students for the data collection on farms and for establishing sound gross margins.

Farm data
The establishment and use of reliable, comparable farm data leads to a proper understanding of farm business and production issues.
This digital agriculture will take us from agriculture, relying on experience and intuition to sustainable agriculture optimized with data.

We collect data “on the field” using the special Regio-Max tool developed by HSWT.
